Revenue share (RevShare) is an affiliate commission model in which the partner receives an ongoing percentage of the net gaming revenue generated by the players they referred — for as long as those players keep playing.
Rates commonly range from approximately 25% to 45% of NGR, often in tiers that rise with monthly FTD volume. Because payment is a share of actual revenue, RevShare aligns incentives toward player quality rather than volume — the affiliate earns nothing from churned or fraudulent sign-ups.
The contract details decide the real economics:
Why it matters: RevShare is a perpetual liability written against future revenue, so miscalculated or vaguely defined deals compound monthly. Operators need commission engines that compute per-deal NGR automatically and transparently — the core function of modern affiliate software — and a platform back office that reports NGR the same way, because manual RevShare accounting fails audits and partner trust alike.
